Artist Profile

Bisi Onisemo is the founder of Hope Creations. She gave her life to Christ whilst she was  studying at the University on the 18th December 2003 through a fellow at the Young Disciples International (YDI) who ministered to her. Bisi’s proclivity for purpose made her had an encounter on the 24th April 2010, when she was waiting on the Lord in a fast to know what God has called her to do. On that fateful day, she was travelling to Central London from home in the United Kingdom on a journey and the Holy Spirit ministered to her, to start hand crafting God’s promises in a wall frame, using knitting wool. This was the genesis of Hope Creations.

The Spirit of the Lord told her to work towards the vision, and that He would teach her how she was going to handcraft the art. (Isaiah 48: 17, John 2:5). The Spirit of the Lord stated that, many will come to the knowledge of God through the Word of God handcrafted in these wall frames, and this vision was confirmed from the Book of Proverbs where God said,

My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God” (Proverbs 2: 1-5).

If God is the Word and the Word is hancrafted in wall frames, when people set their eyes on the Word, their eyes can be opened because God Said, “But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away” (2 Corinthians 3:16).

When the veil is taken away, miracles are bound to happen. People could get saved, get delivered, receive healing etc. (Psalm 107:20). God’s promises handcrafted in wall frames are also able to increase the faith of believer’s in Christ (Romans 10:17), and His word, and it can also enlighten people about the love of God. (John 3:16, 1 John 2: 4-6).

She has handcrafted scriptural, inspirational, personalised wall arts for clients as well as handcrafting company’s logos. The wall arts can be put up as a wall decor in homes, offices and can be given as a gift for different occasions - birthday, weddings, anniversaries etc. She has received quite a lot of testimonials regarding the wall arts. Bisi’s inspiration comes though the word of God, meditation, nature, testimonies and people’s experiences.

She has exhibited her artworks at the Vibe Gallery, Bond House Projects ZAP Summer Exhibition and Parallax Art Fair, United Kingdom.  An invitation was extended to her in September 2021 to participate in International Association of Visual Artists (IAVA) by IAVA.

Bisi is married with 3 children and she lives in the United Kingdom.
